How to add bulk contacts using Zapier?

Vumu provides a facility for its users that they can integrate with Zapier and import contacts into Vumu.

To add bulk contacts using Zapier

Step-01:

Create a Google Spreadsheet and add contacts details to it

Step-02:

Log in to your Zapier Account with the same email ID you logged into your Vumu Account

Step-03:

After logging into your account, scroll down a bit and click on the Accept Invite & Build a Zap button

Step-04:

You'll be redirected to the Zap Dashboard. Click on the +Create Zap button

Step-05:

You can rename your zap by clicking on the pencil icon against the name

Step-06:

Now, you have to complete the triggers section by filling out the required information

Step-07:

As you have made a Google Sheet, click on the Google Sheets for the App Event

Step-08:

After that, fill out the Event field

Step-09:

Click on the Event field and choose any option from the drop-down menu. For now, we are going to choose New Spreadsheet Row

Step-10:

Click on the Continue button

Step-11:

Now, choose the account on which you made a google sheet by clicking on the Choose account field. Please choose the same account you are logged in on your Vumu Account

Step-12:

Click on the Continue button to proceed further

Step-13:

Then you have to choose a spreadsheet you made (in step 01) after clicking on the spreadsheet field

Step-14:

Now, choose the worksheet of the Google sheet on which you have added your contacts

Step-15:

After that click on the continue button

Step-16:

Now, click on the test Trigger button to test the triggers you've added till now

Step-17:

After clicking on it, the 1st row from your contact list appeared. Now click on the Continue button to end the Trigger section

Step-18:

Now, you have to complete the Action by performing a few steps

Step-19:

Now choose Vumu (1.0.1) from the given options. In case, it is not available in the given menu, search it from the search bar

Step-20:

Fill out the Event field by choosing Create user from the drop-down menu

Step-21:

Click on the Continue button to move to the next step

Step-22:

Now, you have to add the Zapier Key in the Vumu (1.0.1) Account field

Step-23:

Click on the Vumu (1.0.1) Account field and click on the Choose new account button

Step-24:

A modal will appear where you have to add the Zapier Key

Step-25:

Now, go to your Vumu Account and click on the Manage Apps button

Step-26:

Click on the Connect button from the Zapier box

Step-27:

A modal will appear. Copy the Vumu API Key and click on the Done button after that

Step-28:

Now, go to the Modal where you have to paste the Zap Key (Please refer to step 14). Paste the Key and click on yes, continue

Step-29:

Click on the continue button to proceed forward

Step-30:

Now, you have to fill out the set up action fields

Step-31:

In the title section, you can choose the title from the drop-down menu (if you have the title section in your google sheet) or write any title you want to give to your contact (if you don't have a title section)

Step-32:

Choose First name from the drop-down menu

Step-33:

Select the Last Name from the drop-down menu

Step-34:

To choose the Email, click on the Show all options button

Step-35:

More options will appear then click on the Email options

Step-36:

Make sure your tags field should have Zapier added to it

Step-37:

Click on the Continue button

Step-38:

Click on the test & review so that before sending it out you can review the contact details

Step-39:

Now, click on the Publish Zap button

Step-40:

After that, a modal will appear. Click on the Publish & turn on button

Step-41:

All your contacts will be imported to your Vumu Account. Zapier will show you all the details as well

Step-42:

To check if the contacts have been added to your account or not, go to your Vumu account and click on the Contacts button

Step-43:

Your contacts will appear on your Contacts page with the Zapier tag
