How to send out a video via email

After recording/uploading a video with Vumu, now you can send a video landing page in email with just a few clicks. You can send video in Email through the following 3 easy ways:

Send Video Landing Page via copy and pasting in Gmail
Send Video Landing Page via ESP (Email Service Provider)

Send Video Landing Page via Vumu App

Vumu Email is a powerful feature to quickly reach out to your prospects right within the Vumu.

First setup Email address & domain then you can send email from Vumu in 3 ways.

1 - Send Email from Edit Landing page
2 - Send Email from contact profile page
3 - Send Email from Inbox

Let’s discuss each one in detail.

Setup Email Addresses & domains

Before sending an email from Vumu you need to set up the email address and domain otherwise the email modal will have an alert to set up email from preferences. See how to setup email address & domain

1- Send Email from Edit Landing Page

Right from the “Landing Page Editor”, you can send email

Step01:

Open your landing page by clicking Edit from the dashboard.

Step02:

Click on “Share” from top right:

Step03:

“Share modal” will appear. This modal will have all sharing options. Click “Share vis Email/SMS”.

Step04:

When Email Modal appears, enter the email details, such as:

Add the recipient’s email address
Add a Subject of the email
Add Email content

Step05:

In the email body, use tools to do formatting from the toolbar:

Choose font style
Add Paragraph formatting
Make your text Bold/Italic/Underline
Add Alignment and bullets
Insert links

Step06:

After adding the content just click on Send via Email to share it with your prospects.

2- Send Email from contact profile page

You can also send email to your contact from the contact page.

Step01:

Access your contact page by clicking “Contact” from the right side navigation.

Click on a contact name you want to email.

Step03

Contact profile screen will open. Click on the Send Email section.

Step04

Email panel will appear. After entering the details. There are two option:
Record a new video
Choose from the existing videos
Right now we will choose from the existing video. So click on the “Open project” icon.

Step05

This will open a modal with 3 tabs to choose the existing videos. Click on any video.

Step06

Click the video and it will appear in the email body. Enter all the content email subject, email body. You can also format the email body.

Step07:

Now just click on Send via Email to share it with your prospects.

3- Send Email from Inbox

You can also send email to your contact from Inbox.

1 - Send Video through New Conversation

Step01:

Access your Inbox page by clicking “Inbox” from the right side navigation.

Step02

Click the "New Conversation" from top right and click Send via Email.

Step03

This will open the same email modal. Click on Open projects.

Step04

This will open a modal with 3 tabs to choose the existing videos. Click the video and it will appear in the email body.

Step05:

Now just click on Send via Email to share it with your prospects.

2- Send Video in reply email to an existing conversation

Click the message from the left. The all the conversations will appear on the right. Now you can send video to into reply message.

Step01

When you click to compose message at the bottom. The message panel will appear. Click on Open project.

Step02

This will open a modal with 3 tabs to choose the existing videos. Click on any video.

Step02

The video will appear into the body area. Just click on "Send via Email".

Send Video Landing Page via copy and pasting in Gmail

Each video landing page can be sent in Gmail just by clicking on one button and it will give you a page link to paste into Gmail.

Step01:

Open your landing page by clicking Edit from the dashboard.

Step02:

Click on “Copy link” from top right. Now you have landing page link copied.

Step03:

Now open your "Gmail composer" and paste the link:



Just click the sent button. That's it .

Send Video Landing Page via ESP (Email Service Provider)

Each video landing page can be sent in any ESP (Email Service Provider) just by clicking one button that will give a page link to paste into any of your favorite ESP (Email Service Provider).
