What are comments?

Comments are a way to engage with the content. It is a way for people to share their thoughts on the content and give feedback about it. It can be helpful when you need to know what people think about your content. It is also a way for you to have an open dialogue with your audience.

The comments can be of two types:

Text Comment
Record a Comment

By using our tool, you can use a comment feature and enable/disable its settings on Account Level or Video Level.

On Account Level, you can on the settings of the comment and it will get enabled on all of the videos you made in future. You can turn its settings off so that no one can leave a comment on your video
Whereas, on Video Level, you can enable the settings of the comment for a specific video and your target audience will be able to leave a comment on that particular video and if you want to disable the comment settings on a specific video, you can simply turn it off.

Here is What are comments:

To enable/disable the comment settings on Account Level:

Step01

Click on the ‘Profile Icon’ which is on the top right corner of your dashboard screen

Step02

Choose ‘Settings’ from the drop-down menu

Step03

Go to ‘Notifications’ by clicking on the bell-shaped icon from the left panel.

Step04

Enable/disable the toggle against the ‘Enable Comments’ option.

Step05

When you enable the comments, the ‘text comment’ and ‘record a comment’ icons will appear at the bottom of the video

Step06

When you disable the comments, the ‘text comment’ and ‘record a comment’ icons will disappear from the bottom of the video



To enable/disable the comment settings on Video Level:

Step01

Open the Video on which you want to enable/disable the comments by clicking on the ‘Edit’ option

Step02

When the video Landing page appears, click on the arrow to open the right panel.

Step03

Go to ‘More’ options.

Step04

Enable/disable the comments toggle according to your preference.

Step05

If you enable the comments, the ‘text comment’ and ‘record a comment’ icons will appear at the bottom of the video.

Step06

When you disable the comments, the ‘text comment’ and ‘record a comment’ icons will disappear from the bottom of the video.



Please note that, when your user leaves a text comment or recorded comment on your video, it will appear at the bottom of the page.
